Digital product configurator from tecfor care – empowering customers and promoting independent purchasing

Over-the-counter sales are becoming increasingly important for medical supply stores. At the same time, demand is rising for advice, efficiency, and meeting customer expectations. tecfor care Ltd is expanding its portfolio with an innovative solution designed to support over-the-counter sales in specialist medical supply shops. It allows customers to configure their own personalised products.

The integrated configurator provides a simple, structured, needs-based approach to product selection. It guides users through the process of choosing and visualising suitable over-the-counter products, and allows them to customise their selection. This configuration can then be used as the basis for consultations and sales discussions with the medical supply store, as orders for the selected products can only be placed through them.

The configurator is based on the standard Ecofit S and Elbacare versions. The range of configurable products will be expanded further in the future. You can upgrade the standard bed to a premium solution in individual steps by selecting optional extras. This allows you to choose different side rails and add wooden panelling or upholstery covers to improve the bed’s functionality and customise its appearance. The range is complemented by a variety of practical accessories, including under-bed lighting, a bed tray and an infusion pole.

Designed to empower customers and reinforce the role of the medical supply store in the advisory and sales processes, the new product configurator gives customers a say in their choices. Digital preselection and personal expert advice are seamlessly integrated. This makes the configurator more than just a digital tool — it becomes a strategic instrument for boosting over-the-counter sales.
